In the past it was common that only older patients would visit the cardiologist, nowadays it is more common for younger people to visit the cardiologist. In the past few years, stress, lack of physical activity unhealthy lifestyle, unhealthy diets, increased social stressors, increase workplace stressors have contributed to a younger demographic visiting the cardiologist at an earlier stage of their lives.
